The Garmin Vivoactive 3 stands out as both a running watch but also one of Garmin's best smartwatches with plenty of added features beyond sports tracking.

The good news is that right now, the Vivoactive 3 has dropped further to its cheapest price yet from Amazon. That's a compelling price tag when you consider the new Vivoactive 4 retails at $349. It's worth noting that the Vivoactive 3 has been superseded by the recent Vivoactive 4, hence the discount. The Vivoactive 4 adds extra workouts from your wrist, including yoga.

If you want music from your wrist, there is also a discount on the Vivoactive 3 Music, which gives you access to Spotify offline playlists. That's a great option if you don't want to bring your phone along for tunes.

If you don't need some of the more advanced training features seen in Garmin's pricier top end sports watches, the Vivoactive 3 packs in plenty of features that will keep most runners happy.

Of course there's built-in GPS and a heart rate monitor, but you also get VO2 max estimations, which are one of the best ways to keep an eye on your improving fitness levels.

We gave the Garmin Vivoactive 3 an excellent 4/5 review, concluding: "The Garmin Vivoactive 3 is a big improvement on the HR in design that also beefs up its sports tracking. Not only that, but it's better as an all-day health tracking device, and paired with the new Connect app, Garming is giving Fitbit, Apple et al more to worry about."
