Huawei and Porsche have teamed up, once again, for a slick (expensive) smartwatch. The Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 is available to order now for an eye-popping £599 (US pricing still TBC).
The second tête-à-tête between the two brands (surely you've not forgotten 2017's Huawei Watch 2 Porsche Design edition?), the Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 looks to be, somewhat confusingly, a bit of a mashup of last year's GT 2 and the newer GT 2 Pro, with some Porschey touches, of course.
As per the GT 2 Pro it boasts a sapphire glass display, titanium casing and a ceramic back. Where it differs, slightly, is that it features a quick fit adjustable titanium link strap, which has been polished with a "rigorous sandblasting process" for that gorgeous-looking matte finish.
The buckle is accented with the Porsche Design logo and the two digital crowns feature the iconic red circle of the car brand. There's also a bunch of Porsche / car / racing inspired digital elements and apps on board.
And, because everyone who drives a Porsche also plays golf, there's a new Golf Drive Range Mode that can analyze your swing posture and provide tips for improving your game.
Porsche Design isn't quite the car company, rather a studio offshoot of it owned by the umbrella company Porsche Automobil Holding SE, who do all the motor stuff.
Porsche Design has actually done a wealth of tech hookups in the past, with not only Huawei but the likes of BlackBerry, LaCie, Microsoft and Siemens.
And it's no stranger to fashion timepieces with a rich heritage in the area, including the world's first black chronograph watch - the P'6510 - back in 1972.
We're not sure the Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 will age quite as well as that classic watch but, hey, you never know.

Like we said already, it's expensive as heck at just under £600, but you do get a free pair of Huawei FreeBuds 3 thrown in - and they are usually £150.
