Huawei has added another smartwatch to its growing lineup, the Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition.
Announced alongside the slightly bonkers Huawei Watch Buds, the company has added the black and gold ceramic edition of the Watch GT 3 Pro to the family.
This is a spin-off of the standard Watch GT 3 Pro, of course, though it also joins the Watch GT 3 Porsche Design model and Watch GT 3 SE released over the last year or so by Huawei.
As you would expect from a Collector's Edition, the biggest differences here are in the design.
Huawei indicates that this new model is made from nano microcrystalline ceramic - a material or processing we suspect is similar to the smaller, ceramic edition of the standard Watch GT 3 Pro.
The details on the crown have also been updated, though they remain on the bezel's upper right edge, while sapphire glass is used to protect the 1.43-inch AMOLED display.
Aside from this, the experience on the watch will be roughly the same.
The company's HarmonyOS will come pre-installed, and the headline tracking feature, dual-band GPS, will also still be present alongside health features like ECG readings.
As is often the case with Chinese launches, it's not yet clear if or when the Watch GT 3 Pro Collector's Edition will release outside of the region. And, as we saw with the lack of a release for the most recent Porsche collaboration, it's not necessarily guaranteed.
However, we do know a rough ballpark for the price, given that the Collector's Edition was announced for 4,938 CNY. This converts to around $700 / £575.
Stay tuned for more on this as we get it - and check out our list of the upcoming smartwatches for 2023 for more Chinese launches we're currently waiting to go global.
