Meta has announced that the third annual Quest Gaming Showcase will take place on 1 June, with over 40 minutes of content teased for its set of VR headsets.
The company announced the date for the VR gaming-focused event in a blog post, which it says will include new game announcements, first-look teaser trailers, updates on in-development games, and a full pre-show and post-show.
The last Quest Gaming Showcase took place in April last year, with the highlights including the reveal of Resident Evil 4 and Ghostbusters VR.
The pre-show will begin at 9:45am PT / 12:45pm ET, with the main event kicking off at 10am PT / 1pm ET. Those interested will be able to watch the event on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and within the Horizon Worlds VR platform.

With the now-canceled E3 previously scheduled to take place in mid-June, the Quest Gaming Showcase should help inject some life into the VR gaming bubble.
And with Apple's mixed-reality headset expected to receive a June unveiling, too, as well as Microsoft and Ubisoft also hosting their own events in the month, there's actually plenty to look forward to.
What we'll actually see from Meta, of course, is unknown at this stage.
We could finally see the follow-up to GTA: San Andreas VR that was teased way back in 2021, though we expect much of the focus will instead be on new reveals and updates to existing projects.
With new hardware expected to be unveiled at Meta Connect 2023 later this year, as well, much of what we see could lay the groundwork for the rumored Meta Quest 3.
