Weight Watchers have announced that Fitbit integration is now available to its UK members. Weight Watchers initially revealed plans to sync data from both Fitbit and Jawbone into its ecosystem in the States back in September.
The UK partnership means that Weight Watchers can record their physical activities from their Fitbit fitness trackers and convert their data into Activity ProPoints - making their wearable data more tangible.

“Weight Watchers helps people make better food decisions, while Fitbit’s wearable fitness devices and app track activity and provide users with information to help the make better health decisions," said Chris Stirk, commercial director at Weight Watchers.
"Integrating with Fitbit’s products is an exciting move for the brand and further establishes Weight Watchers leading position in the UK, a testament to the unique combination of resources and digital accessibility offered to members.”

As well as the integration between the Fitbit data and the Weight Watchers online platform, the weight loss company will also start selling Fitbit Flex and Fitbit One devices through its online store and during meetings.
